So Saturday Morning before Easter we woke Carson up and hurried and got him some food so we could take him to the Hyde Park City Easter Egg Hunt. Connor originally was supposed to work but they didn't have too and so we were able to go. Carson thought he was so big carrying his Easter Basket.
Carson got a bunch of candy which he doesn't need, but oh well he seemed to have a good time anyways. So we got home from that to see what the Easter Bunny brought Carson. He was spoiled this year. We really wanted him to have a bike for summer, and we are against getting kids toys just for the heck of it. So we wanted to make sure he got his bike since there is not a birthday or holiday where gifts are given for a super long time.
These shirts were for Connor. We also had family pictures that day in which we heard through the grape vine but were never really told what to wear, but we heard patterns in Easter colors. So the Easter Bunny was so thoughtful to get coordinating shirts for us all.
Carson wanted to hang out in his stroller and look at the back yard and the birds! He loves the birds and is great at spotting them when he sees or hears them. He is definitely his dads boy that way!
The joys of having a huge backyard you don't have to walk out and about to find some nature.
Caron finding his gifts!
He rode his bike with Dad's help since he cant walk and is not quite tall enough yet!
So around 1pm we went up to Old Main Hill to have a picnic and roll our eggs down the hill. Carson loved wearing Shanae's sunglasses while we ate lunch and then it was off to roll our eggs.
Carson got mini eggs this year, they were so cute! You can see how small they really are compared to those 3 eggs in the middle.
He would not let go of his eggs. He would rather eat them then throw them. Near the end he started to throw them but not much!
We also had family pictures that day with Connor's family, but I haven't seen them yet, so I will post some when I look at them.
