Sick baby boy

Carson has been a very sick boy this last weekend. He has been fighting sickness since he was born. It is that time of year for everything, but on Wednesday last week things started to get worse. He started getting this terrible cough, and was just not himself. So on Thursday morning on the way to work, i took him to see Dr. Odell to see what was up. Well he wasn't that bad that day in comparison to right now, but Dr. Odell says he had an upper respiratory problem, and we just needed to watch for RSV and INFLUENZA which both would be bad. He also asked if he was vomiting and had diarrhea and at the time neither. He said to just wait it out. Well he just progressively got worse, and on Friday afternoon he threw up his bottle. All 5 ounces of it. Same with the next bottle, and the next bottle. He finally kept 3 down Saturday early morning, but was only eating about 2.5ounces a feeding. So about half. Well that afternoon the throwing up started again and he threw up his bottles again. He was keeping down about a 1/3 of what he normally eats a day. His isn't having fevers, unless they are just low grade, but his cough is getting worse and he just cant eat. He finally has kept his bottles down since Sunday morning, but has only been eating a couple ounces at each feeding.
I was debating whether to take him to the doctor or not, seeing as money is hard to come by right now, but he just is miserable today and when I called and told them what was going on, they really wanted to make sure he got in. So hopefully we hear that things are going up from here and there isn't something bigger and worse going on.
On Sunday we stopped by Grandma Trish's house and he was so traumatized from coughing that he put his Binky in and held it there, it was pretty funny!

I had to work on Sunday morning, which was pretty scary knowing how sick he was. I didn't want to leave him. I kept texting Connor asking how he was doing, and he sent me some pictures. Even while he is sick, he still manages to give us a few smiles, usually followed by a cough and whine. He is sick of being sick!

Connor got him dressed in his favorite outfit. It says daddy's little hunting buddy on the onesie. He said that when he told him he was daddy's little hunting buddy he just couldn't stop smiling!

So not many people believe us until they see it, but Carson absolutely loves the TV show, Good Luck Charlie. I don't know if it is the crazy people on it or all the bright colors, but he just stares at the tv for the entire 20 minute episode. It is so funny. One day when I was making dinner, I propped him up on the couch and turned it on. He was so into it, just staring away at the screen while sucking on his taggy blanket. We watch it on Netflix, and when the episode is over it takes you back to a screen where nothing happens, and he will squawk at you to get it going again. This picture below is him just loving it! He doesn't do it with any other show. I love it!
Going to Grandma Trish's while mom worked on the schedule. He was so excited to get out of the house. He looked so happy, too bad it didn't last too long before he remembered how miserable he feels.
