During the priesthood session of Conference, all the girls in Connor's family get together and have dinner and play games or do a craft at someone's house. Well the last couple of Conference's, my family has gone to girls night at Deseret Book and dinner. So I have had to make some choices about which one to do! Well this time, I went with my family again to Girls night, and dinner. We decided to do dinner at 4:30pm this time before we went to Deseret Book so that I could try to make it to both traditions. Well while we were at Sizzler, Carson was sleeping and hanging on to his ribbon that hooked his pacifier to himself. He loves it. We were having a hard day on Friday before this because we had lost this particular pacifier and he was very sad. He loves it! Even if it is the same pacifier, he wont like it without his ribbon to play with.
He weighed 13lbs 6oz, 23.5inches long, and therefore has grown a lot. Dr. Odell was pretty impressed with how much he talked to him and with how strong he is getting. He even got a smile! Carson had a very hard time with shots. He was so upset. He cried so hard that it put him to sleep, and he slept for about 3 hours straight. Once he woke up though, he just started screaming and it was constant no matter what we did. Tylenol only did so much. It was so hard to handle, I had to call in some reinforcements. Good thing my mom loves this little man and lives so close. She came to the rescue until he was calm enough and sleepy enough that I could handle it. I just hope it isn't near as bad at 4 months.....
He is so sweet. Those darn shots are so sad. He sure is growing!
