Grey's River Trip 2012

Every year we go to Grey's River in Wyoming, over Labor Day! It is a tradition in Connor's family and his favorite trip ever! This was our first year with Carson and we were really worried. It goes so very cold up there at night and we were worried about how much sleep we would get in a tent.

We borrowed Connor's Grandparents enclosed trailer and it was definitely warmer! It was still pretty cold up there, but I could only imagine how it would have been in our completely mesh tent!

The first Day we got up there was Friday morning. Connor originally had to work, because he is not supposed to take time off around holidays, but they were nice and let him take it because he had mentioned it when he started that he had a family thing that weekend! We were really happy.
It made things a lot easier to get up there during the day and not late at night.

The ride up there was a struggle, we originally going to caravan with Tammie and Jeff, and Dave and Kathy. Well they were going to leave a little after we were, and so we headed off without them. Carson slept for part of the trip, but woke up around Preston and just watched out the windows for a while. We got a text from Tammie around Grace saying that Dave and Kathy got a flat on their trailer in Hyde Park and so would be a ways behind us. We continued on our trip and Carson got really sad through the windy roads before and after Henry and we had to reach back and hold his hand the whole time.
When we finally got some cell service just heading into Alpine we got a phone call from Tammie saying that Dave and Kathy got another flat and were stopping to fix it in Soda Springs! They definitely were having some bad luck.

We finally made it to camp after I had to ride backwards in the car feeding Carson. He couldn't wait any more! Those roads are so bumpy it was definitely hard!
We got unloaded and our beds set up so we could just enjoy our day sitting around camp! The first night was pretty rough! It rained really hard all night and so I slept bad because it was very loud in the trailer with it pounding on the roof, and I of course was so worried about Carson that it was a rough night!

Saturday we went for a walk with Susan, Alan, Tammie, Elliot, Kristin, Cooper, Connor, Carson and I! It was pretty fun but started sprinkling on us so we hurried back to Camp! Connor of course brought his RC Cars and Cooper loves to help him!
Carter loved the four wheeler! He wanted to ride it all the time! He probably went on more rides then anyone else! Jeff was great to take him whenever he wanted!

Grandma and Grandpa Jensen have a Razor! Everyone enjoys taking them for rides! Jake took Grandma Jensen and I don't think she has ever been so scared in her life!

Cooper is not a fan of loud things! He loves motorcycles, just doesn't like them when they are on! He will sit on them and "play" and make noises, but once it starts to move and make its own noises he gets quite nervous! He loved the razor though and that was the only thing we could get him to go for rides on!

 Carter and the four wheeler!

Aubrey didn't go for a lot of rides, but she definitely enjoyed them!

Carson even got to go for a ride! He loves the four wheeler! This was his first real ride (not just around the back yard) He enjoyed it a lot!

Tammie, Jeff and Aubrey

Cooper has his little bike that he rides so fast! He was everywhere on it! He rode it so much that his poor little legs were so sore!

We got all the grandkids, with the exception of Carter, to play on the four wheeler together! They loved it and Aubrey of course posed for the camera!

Carson and Elliot! They are only 2 months apart and will probably be great friends!

Hanging out at Murphy's lake eating some snacks!

This year went by so fast! We had a lot of fun and Carson definitely enjoyed it! He loves to be outside and loves to be around people!
